NM400
400HB is a wear resistant steel with a hardness of 400 HBW, joined by high strength and excellent impact toughness. The superior resistance of NM 400 allows significant savings in all the heavy applications where longer lifespan, lower weights, energy efficency and good weldability are of essence. All plates in NM400 are:
- fully killed and fine-grain treated
- trimmed on all four edges,
- shotblasted,
- primerized
- UT tested according to EN10160 S1E1
