40Cr Spring Steel
40Cr is the most commonly used alloy structural steel, with higher tensile strength, yield strength, and hardenability than 40 steel, but limited weldability and a tendency to form cracks. Suitable for more important quenched and tempered parts, such as parts working under alternating loads, medium speed and medium load parts. After surface quenching, it can be used as parts with high load and wear resistance without significant impact, such as gears, sleeves, shafts, crankshafts, pins, etc.
